We have a teenage daughter with an Autism diagnosis. We are so thankful for children her age that take the time to be friendly with her. While our daughter can communicate very well, her social skills are not aligned with her peers, so she can struggle with some interactions.

We can tell that the children who are compassionate with our daughter are being raised by parents who teach their children those values. It really takes a small amount of effort to identify opportunities to include people with disabilities in everyday interactions - and it is amazing to see how much it means to them.
